We take a proactive and collaborative approach to peak planning, engaging with clients well in advance of high-volume periods. Approximately two months prior to peak (e.g. Black Friday), we request forecasted volumes from clients. Using this data, AXIMA develops a detailed operational capacity model covering all key workflows, including pick/pack, replenishment, returns, and dispatch. The scenarios are shared and reviewed with the client approximately six weeks prior to peak, allowing alignment on the preferred operating model and ensuring expectations are clearly set.
AXIMA does not follow a traditional account management structure, and we do not appoint a single account manager to oversee the account. Instead, responsibility is led by AXIMA’s Operations Managers and DC Manager. This model removes the disconnect that can often exist between operations and account management in a traditional structure. Our approach is deliberate. It ensures that issues and opportunities are managed clearly, directly, and by the people who live and breathe the operation every day.
